The Open Kitchen Difference

Posted on 3rd March 2010

Our two open kitchen locations here in Albuquerque are more than just a novelty, they represent a real difference that you can taste as well as see.

All Taco Cabana’s started with “open kitchens” but, over the years, many had to be remodled for various reasons and the kitchens got closed off. Our two “Open Kitchen” locations, however, made a deicsion to do all we had to do to keep our kitchens open.

What’s this mean to you? Well, for one you can see your food being prepared. Order it, then watch. You’ll see your pancakes being poured on the griddle… your chicken roasting in the fire. You’ll be able to see that nothing is coming from a heat lamp to your table. And then, when you’re at your table, you’ll taste the difference in every scrumptious bite!

The chicken tacos, at the wyoming/montgomery location, are so good! Why do all of the other locations not have the same type of chicken? I will only eat Taco Cabana if it comes from the wyoming/montgomery location. The other locations have chicken that seems to be stewed in some sort of sauce and its gross!!
